How can I keep my Dexcom sensor adhered to my body?

Dexcom G7 is now compatible* with the latest version of Android 15. 

Android™ 15 is compatible, but I am still experiencing Signal Loss. 

Absolutely! You can take your Dexcom G7 with you when you travel. Just remember not to uninstall and reinstall the app outside of your home country.

Can I travel with my Dexcom G7?

When you see the orange phone icon beside your sensor reading, Direct to Watch mode is temporarily not working. Your smartwatch* isn’t getting information from the sensor.

What is the orange phone icon on my Apple Watch Screen / When I&#x27;m using my watch for my CGM info, when do I need my phone close by?

Whilst wearing your Dexcom CGM System, you can take a standard of maximum paracetamol/acetaminophen does of 1 gram (1000mg) every 6 hours and still use the sensor readings to make treatment decisions.

All Dexcom products can be calibrated, but not required.  All our systems are designed to work properly without calibrations. Calibration is therefore an optional function.

What if I have issues with the Dexcom G7 while traveling?

No. Dexcom G6 sensors, transmitters, and receivers are not compatible with the Dexcom G7 CGM System.

Can I use Dexcom G6 components with my Dexcom G7 CGM System?

Once inserted, the sensor is waterproof up to 2.4 meters. The receiver is not.

Can I get Dexcom G7 wet?

No, Direct to Watch can’t share real-time glucose data to Health App partners like Sugarmate or Happy Bob. When you are back with your phone* your glucose data will be backfilled to the partner app.

Will my Apple Watch* share glucose data with Health Apps like Sugarmate or Happy Bob?

To install the Dexcom G7 Apple Widget, you must first update your Dexcom G7 App to version 1.7.0 or later via the App Store. Then follow our steps by reading our full FAQ article.

How do you install the Dexcom G7 Apple Widget?

The &quot;Bluetooth is off&quot; alert means this function is turned off. It will either show as App Bluetooth is off or Phone Bluetooth is off. Bluetooth must be on to get glucose information on your smart device*.

You can download the app while traveling since the download is tied to your App Store or Google account&#x27;s country settings, which don&#x27;t change when you travel.

Can I download the app whilst travelling?

Your Follower can customise notifications. For example, they can change their settings so they know when you go below 3.9 mmol/L for more than 30 minutes.

Can my Followers customise notifications?

Your phone settings can prevent the Dexcom Follow app from working. Learn more about the settings that will allow your app to work as expected.

What are the recommended Android phone settings for Follow app?

Battery longevity is about 7 days on a full charge, and it takes about 3 hours for the battery to fully charge.

What is the Dexcom ONE+ receiver battery longevity?

Once snapped into place, the transmitter is water resistant. Swim, shower, take a bath: no need to worry about water and your Dexcom ONE, just leave your display device in a dry area.

Can I shower or swim while wearing my Dexcom ONE?

All Dexcom ONE users can insert their sensors on their abdomen or the back of their upper arms. People ages 2 to 17 years old can also choose their upper buttocks. Look for a place on your belly, back of upper arms, or upper buttocks where you have some padding.
