Dexcom G6 for Kids
Change how your child lives with diabetes
With the Dexcom G6 CGM for children with type 1 diabetes, you can always know your child’s number† and where it’s headed with no routine fingersticks* – when they’re at home, at school, even at a sleepover.
*If your glucose alerts and readings from the G6 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
What is Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)?
Simply put, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) tracks glucose levels throughout the day and night and can alert you if your child’s glucose levels go too high or too low. The Dexcom G6 CGM System shows you which direction and rate of change your child’s levels are trending. It can even alert you up to 20 minutes in advance of a severe low!
Most Private Insurers reimburse Dexcom G6‡
