What is the difference between Power Off and Stop Sensor Session on the Dexcom G7 receiver?

The Power Off option powers down the receiver and acts as an on/off button, temporarily turning off all communication between your Dexcom G7 sensor and receiver during a sensor session. You won’t get sensor glucose readings during this time, and using the Power Off option won’t extend the life of your sensor. If you use the Power Off option, you can turn your receiver back on by holding down the right button with a circle on it (the Select button) for 3-5 seconds. Give the receiver at least 10 minutes for it to display a reading after it turns back on.
The Stop Sensor Session option ends a sensor session. After activating this option, you will not get sensor glucose readings. If you want to continue getting glucose readings, you must insert and pair a new sensor.
