It’s all about small steps and positive habits. Enjoy getting familiar with how Dexcom G7 helps you keep track of your glucose.
On days 1 and 2, try to follow your normal routine and watch how your glucose levels change after meals or insulin doses.
Notice how your symptoms align with the Dexcom G7 app* data, and keep in mind that you may not be used to seeing your levels change in real time.

Days 3-4

Make it just right – for you.

Alerts. Events. Sounds. Followers . It’s all customizable.
Now that you’ve had a few days with your Dexcom G7, review your preferences and make any desired adjustments. You can tailor options like high and low threshold alerts, Quiet Mode, and alert sounds to fit your lifestyle.

Days 7-8

Clarity comes with insights.

By now, you’ve been using Dexcom G7 for a week. If you haven’t already, then be sure to explore the Dexcom Clarity** summary feature within the Dexcom G7 app.
In the Dexcom G7 app, you can see high-level glucose insights on the Dexcom Clarity card that’s built into the home screen. It populates once it has enough data to define trends, helping you gauge how you’re doing. The more you know, the easier it is to stay in range, which can lower your A1C. 1-6
If you want to use the Dexcom Clarity app on its own, then you can also download it from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Days 9-10

Indications for Use:
The Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (Dexcom G7 CGM System or G7) is a glucose monitoring system indicated for continuously measuring glucose in the interstitial fluid in persons age 2 years and older. The Dexcom G7 CGM System is designed to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) testing for treatment decisions. Interpretation of the Dexcom G7 CGM System results should be based on glucose trends and several sequential sensor readings over time. The Dexcom G7 CGM System also aids in the detection of episodes of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, facilitating both acute and long-term therapy adjustments. The Dexcom G7 CGM System is intended for use by patients at home and in healthcare facilities.
* If your glucose alerts and readings from Dexcom G7 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
