Sharps disposal in Canada

Health Product Stewardship Association (HPSA) operates on behalf of Dexcom for the safe disposal of unwanted medications and used sharps in the provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

For any other provinces and territories, Dexcom recommends that users dispose of the used applicator following local guidelines for blood containing components. Sharps may be dropped off at community pharmacies, public health units, harm reduction sites and Sharps Disposal Units across Canada.
