Will updating my smart phone affect how I can use my Dexcom G7?
Before upgrading your smart phone or its operating system, check dexcom.com/compatibility. Automatic Dexcom G7 app and/or smartphone operating system updates can change settings or shut down the Dexcom app, so always update your smart phone manually and verify the correct device settings afterward.
To turn off automatic updates:
- Navigate to your phone’s settings
- Tap “General”
- Tap “Software Updates”
- Turn Automatic Updates “Off”
