Does Yukon provide Dexcom CGM coverage?
Yes, Dexcom G6 and G7 coverage is available for eligible Yukoners living with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes and using basal and bolus insulins or an insulin pump now have access to fully funded continuous glucose monitoring.

Do I need a prescription to qualify for coverage?
Yes, you will need a valid prescription.
What do I need to get coverage approval?
Yukoners living with type 1 diabetes who meet the benefit criteria must register with the Chronic Disease and Disability Benefit program at 1-867-667-5092. People aged 65 or older can contact the Pharmacare program at 1-867-667-5403.
How long am I approved for?
One year
Where can I get my Dexcom CGM supplies?
Those approved will have the option of purchasing their Dexcom supplies from their local pharmacy.
Will I have any out-of-pocket costs?
For patients with deductible amounts, the Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit (Copay) program assists in reducing or eliminating out-of-pocket costs, saving patients up to 20%. Download a copy of the program certificate below, which can be redeemed at the pharmacy with a valid Dexcom G7 prescription.
