Why has the indicated age range to wear the sensor on the upper buttocks changed in Dexcom G7 compared to Dexcom G6?
Children ages 2-6 years old can wear the Dexcom G7 sensor on the upper buttocks. To support the accuracy and effectiveness data submitted for Dexcom G7, we enrolled subjects ages 2-6 years for upper buttocks wear location. The subjects 7 years and older wore only on the arm in this study.
