How might Dexcom CGM apps be affected if used on an iPhone model that isn't compatible yet?

The Dexcom CGM app and Transmitter communicate using a phone’s Bluetooth technology. When a new iPhone is released, changes could have been made to the phone such as the electronics and antenna locations that could affect signal performance, leading to Signal Loss. Until a new phone is tested by Dexcom, we don’t know if any changes made to the new model affect the Bluetooth communication.
Issues related to the Sensor, including Sensor Error, Inaccuracies, Sensor Failure, and Calibration Error, aren’t due to using the app on an untested iPhone.
