Can I change my sensor early?

Yes. You can change a Dexcom G6 sensor earlier than 10 days. Just make sure to select “Stop Sensor” in your compatible smart device* or Dexcom receiver before removing the old sensor; this will help you to prevent issues with pairing your new sensor. After ending your previous sensor session, you should always see “New Sensor” shown on your display device. Tap “New Sensor” when you’re ready to insert and start a new sensor. When changing a sensor early, follow the prompts shown on your display device in order. Insert your sensor or transmitter when you are prompted to do so on your display device.
For more information on how to end your sensor session early, please read the receiver instructions or app instructions.
