Why is my Dexcom G6 trend arrow missing?
The Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System displays a trend arrow on your Dexcom app or Dexcom receiver.* It tells you the speed and direction of your glucose levels – where you are, where you’re heading and how quickly so you can make diabetes treatment decisions.
When there’s no trend arrows on Dexcom G6, it means that more glucose readings are needed to establish your trend. This often happens when you start a new Dexcom sensor session. Your trend arrow should display on your Dexcom G6 app or receiver* after a few readings.
If your trend arrow still doesn’t appear, contact the Dexcom support team or submit a Product Support Request.
Please note that you need both a trend arrow and CGM reading to make a treatment decision. Be sure to use your blood glucose meter (BGM) until the issue is resolved.
