Can I take Paracetamol whilst wearing my Dexcom CGM?
Whilst wearing your Dexcom CGM System, you can take a standard of maximum paracetamol/acetaminophen does of 1 gram (1000mg) every 6 hours and still use the sensor readings to make treatment decisions.
Taking higher than the maximum does of paracetamol/acetaminophen (e.g. >1g every 6 hours in adults) may affect the sensor readings and make them look higher than they really are.
