Yes, you get Follow notifications when the app is closed.

What is the Android Do Not Disturb Permission?

Support for the Android Do Not Disturb Permission was introduced with the release of G6 Android app version 1.9.0. Safety is Dexcom's top priority, so this new app permission is required to ensure you always get the Urgent Low alarm and important Dexcom alerts even when you put your phone in the most restrictive Do Not Disturb setting.

Can I customize notification settings?

Yes, you can choose which glucose notifications you receive for each Sharer. Changes to settings in the Follow app do not affect the Sharer's CGM settings.

Setting Up Sharing and Dexcom Clarity

Can I use both a receiver and smart device with Dexcom Clarity?

It is possible to use both a smart device and a receiver to provide CGM data. The smart device system streams data to the Clarity server, where that data is made available for reports after three hours.

How can I customize Dexcom Clarity?

In Dexcom Clarity, use the Settings page to customize data display and sharing. Changes only apply to Dexcom Clarity and do not change any settings on your Dexcom CGM system. Changes made in Settings by a healthcare professional during a clinic session only apply during the session.

How do I get to Dexcom Clarity?

Go to https://clarity.dexcom.eu from an internet browser with internet connection. Review Clarity's list of computer and internet requirements if needed.
